Description

We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and experienced Caregivers to provide in-home care for our patients. The primary responsibility of Private Duty Caregivers is to assist with the personal care of our patients, as determined by the individualized care plan. We are seeking caregivers who are available for Day, Weekend, and Live-In shifts, and those who possess a valid drivers license are preferred.

Applicants must possess previous home care experience, and demonstrate a caring attitude towards the sick, disabled, and elderly. Additionally, candidates must possess the ability to read and write and maintain a satisfactory rating on annual performance evaluations. Successful applicants must also pass a criminal background check and demonstrate an understanding of the policies of our Private Duty agency.

• Deliver healthcare services at patients residences
• Execute domestic and household duties
• Convey and accompany patients to medical appointments or hospitals
• Administer prescribed medications of a simple nature
• Aid clients with personal care activities
• Monitor patients vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc., and report on their condition
• Maintain patients care records and document the services provided
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Educate and advise patients and families on diet and exercise
• Collect routine specimens
• Provide companionship and fundamental emotional or psychological support.
